MACK After spending 10 years working in communications for various organizations (and in constant envy of the creative departments) she left the business side to pursue more creative endeavors.  After completing a diploma in digital design through the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she took a job as director of marketing with the United States Air Force Europe at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. Under her leadership, the department was given the distinction of being the Best in Air Force and a best practice campaign that became an Air Force wide initiative.  She has also created advertising concepts for such agencies as the UN World Food Program, GiVE Expeditions and various other businesses.

As a cofounder and a partner in Sprout, Kris is excited about sustainable practices and the team at Sprout incorporates this in their design and often partners with various conservation efforts to offset their carbon emissions.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Washington University.

When she’s not dreaming of design or researching her next project, she is happiest swimming, kayaking, cycling or hiking around the great city of Spokane, WA!!!

SWENSON is a partner and cofounder of the energetic graphics team, Sprout Design Studios.  She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Human Relations while working in design full-time.  Swenson also holds a BFA in Visual Arts with an Art History minor from Bemidji State University.  She is passionate about aesthetics, imagery, sustainable living, ethical business practices and playing nice with both humans and animals.

While working for several years as a Visual Information Specialist for USAFE (United States Air Force Europe), she was a crucial member of a marketing team that ranged from 7-4 people.  This small yet motivated department achieved notable honors including, Marketing: Best in Air Force 2008, USAFE LeMay 2008 & 2009 and Air Force Best Practices 2009.

Swenson also pursues her own artistic endeavors as a fine artist with naked carly art.  She enjoys fonts (including those crazy wingdings), and loves making art and kicking the ball for her dog–a lot.
